Information we may receive from school administrators, which could include any of the above information.

Koomba currently prohibits you from sharing the following information:

  • Any information considered to be 'Protected Health Information' under HIPAA
  • Any information considered to be 'Consumer Health Data' under state-specific privacy laws

In select situations, Koomba may engage a covered medical provider as a 'Business Associate' and execute a privacy agreement prior to processing any sensitive personal information.

We may automatically collect certain technical information from your computer or mobile device when you use the Services.

SMS Communications and Consent

By submitting your phone number through Koomba's intake forms or creating an account, you consent to receiving text messages related to your account, service updates, and personalized support recommendations. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP" to any message.

Safeguarding and Session Transcripts. As part of our safeguarding obligations, Koomba may transcribe certain coaching sessions conducted through our platform. These transcripts are created and stored securely within Healthie's HIPAA- and SOC-2-compliant system.

Provider Coordination

We may share your information with other Koomba Care Team members (for example, a sports psychologist, mental performance coach, or sports nutritionist) who are supporting you. We do this to coordinate recommendations, avoid conflicting advice, and give you more integrated support.
